The first four lessons will cover the following guitar chords:

Augmented and Diminished Chords
7th, Major 7th and Minor 7th Chords
Extended 7th Chords.

These first lessons covers all the basic chords on the guitar and will teach you how to they are built and how to play them anywhere on the neck. There are over 10 - 15 practice sessions per lesson so you will have plenty of practice on learning the basic chords.

Lessons 5-8

The next four lessons will cover the following complex:

Major 6th Chords
6/9 Chords
9th, 11th, and 13th Chords
Barre Chords
Guide Tones

These complex chords are all built from the basic chords and we will cover from which chords they are constructed from and which notes are required when playing them. We will them introduce guide tones, also called essential note chords, which will allow to play complex chords using only a few notes. Such as the Ninth chord which contains the 1-3-5-7-9 notes of the scale, you will learn and practice how to play them with only two or three notes to achieve the same tonality.

Lessons 9-12

Our last four lesson will cover how to alter the chords so you can use them in any melody, progression or song you want and we will show you which chords can be substituted. Through a series of progressions and songs we will then practice implementing our new chords with chords substitutions.

By the end of the course you will have a solid foundation of all the chords possible in music, how they are constructed and how to implement them for any arrangement. This will lead you playing more complex chords for an improved sound and tonality of any song.
