Open Chords are chords that require Open Strings to be complete. Now that we know the 1-3-5 notes make up a chord, when we play a chord any note can be from an open string.

The next few lessons will cover the Major Open Chords, 7th Open Chords, and Extended Chords. Extended Chords are covered so you can start practicing them to build up your hand strength so you can play them in the future.
