Major Scale

The C Major Scale also called the Natural Scale since it is the only major scale where all the notes are natural, meaning no sharps or flats. The notes of the C Major Scale are listed be low:

Scale Degrees

C is the root or one note and other notes are referred to by scale degrees from the root note.
D would be the second scale degree of the C Major scale.
